CVBP was formerly part of the Letterkenny Army Depot. In 1995 the Federal Base Realignment and Closure Commission downsized the Army Depot. The community received 1200 acres of land, buildings, and utilities to be developed as a Business Park. The park currently has over 40 tenants which employ roughly 1,450 people.  The CVBP is the only Keystone Opportunity Zone certified tax abatement zone in Franklin County.
