
GREENCASTLE, Pa., September 11, 2025 — The Franklin County Area Development Corporation (FCADC) hosted its 37th Annual Industry Appreciation Dinner on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Green Grove Gardens (1032 Buchanan Trail East, Greencastle, PA). A networking reception began at 5:30 p.m., followed by the dinner program at 6:30 p.m. The event was sold out with 400+ business, industry, and community leaders attending.
The FCADC recognized companies that are moving Franklin County forward. At this year’s dinner, two outstanding employers were honored as Small Business of the Year and Large Business of the Year for their economic impact, civic leadership, and cultural contributions to the county’s continued prosperity. Dennis E. Black Engineering Inc., was presented the with Small Business of the Year Award and Burnside America, Inc. was presented with the Large Business of the Year Award.
The evening will also featured the presentation of the 31st annual Zane A. Miller Award, which celebrates an individual whose exceptional and sustained contributions have advanced economic development in Franklin County. The award pays tribute to the legacy of Zane A. Miller, a champion for local business growth and community vitality. Adam Donius, owner, local Chic-fil-A franchisee was presented with the Zane A Miller Award.
“This event showcases the ingenuity and grit that define Franklin County’s business community,” said L. Michael Ross, President of FCADC. “We’re proud to celebrate employers and leaders whose work creates jobs, invests in people, and strengthens our region’s quality of life.”
